I found Tasha Jun’s storytelling so beautiful and meaningful. As an Asian American, so much of her story felt familiar yet our experiences different.

She weaves the experiences of cultures, faith, and the struggle of identity throughout the book.

I was surprised when the book came to the end, because it felt like she just scratched the surface of her story.
