Good murder mystery with clean language.

The story line was disturbingly gruesome at times, but it's nice to listen to a book without cursing interspersed throughout. It was a good mystery story that kept you thinking. I would recommend this book to friends who travel and like murder mysteries.

Suspense, Mystery, and God's Grace!

This is my first book by Lynette Eason narrated by Jeanie Kanaley. It definitely won't be my last. I've already purchased book 2 and book 3 will be released June 30, 2015.

The FBI and Special Forces join together to catch a serial killer. With many technical skills and prayer the bad people are found. I love the characters and Jeanie Kanaley was a great narrator.
I'm listening to "Don't look Back" it is #2 in the series. This author keeps a reminder going that God is in control if individuals lives allow him to be.

Nice clean book.

I enjoy being able to read a story without the foul language. This is a Christian author and enjoy the mystery without the other junk.

Too close to Home

The narration of this book was terrible! I had to force myself to listen to it.

Elementary... Needed a different narrator

I had to make myself finish this book. The narrator was not my style. I will not be purchasing another book with this narrator. Sorry Jeanie. The storyline was predictable. I do like the fact that there was no
Cursing.

Fantastic book

This was my first Lynette Eason book and I found It was a really, can't-stop-listening story, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and will definitely read more of hers. The narrator was excellent too. Now I must find the next in the series. God bless you!

pleasantly surprised

I really enjoyed this book, it was refreshing to listen without all the cussing. Also with many of the characters being Christian's I could relate to them even more than ones in a typical mystery novel. excellent read.

Great Story

If you could sum up Too Close to Home in three words, what would they be?

Thrilling, excellent

What did you like best about this story?

I loved that there was no foul language, and Christian based.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jeanie Kanaley?

Any body, sadly she was not good

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

not sure

Good, but not great

First time "reading " this writers books.
The story was a bit choppy in places. Some details were not correct when "remembered" in later parts of the book. Saw the "bad guy" a mile away.
Narration got on my nerves at times because some characters were made to sound really whiny and the inflection just didnt go with the action.
I am going to get the next book simply because I feel that Jamie needs justice and I want to see how it ends up with her and Dakota.

DISAPPOINTED

Would you try another book from Lynette Eason and/or Jeanie Kanaley?

Yes, I would try another Lynette Eason book with a different narrator.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I don't know that I even followed the story. It was disheartening to not be able to listen to the whole story.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I couldn't handle listening to the narrator. It was so distracting that I could only listen to bits and pieces.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

???
