Publisher's summary

Back in Oregon, Kelsey tries to pick up the pieces of her life and push aside her feelings for Ren. But danger lurks around the corner, forcing her to return to India where she embarks on a second quest - this time with Ren's dark, bad-boy brother Kishan, who has also fallen prey to the Tiger's Curse. Fraught with danger, spellbinding dreams, and choices of the heart, Tiger's Quest brings the trio one step closer to breaking the spell that binds them.

Compelling Story!

My fondness for this story could be compared with the unconditional love you have for that very important or special person in your life - because you take them flaws included. The overall storyline and the characters are the strong aspects that keep me (you) with this story. The actual writing itself is up and down with it's stronger scenes and then weaker points, unfortunately not consistent throughout. The author shows definite potential and artistry in some scenes, while others may make you go "really?" and shake your head, feeling like you are being asked to suspend-disbelief, but not in the positive, fictional sense, but only in the sense of "no one would ever really do that"..for the main character's response, or more accurately lack of response, in some situations. In this installment, we have the brief satisfaction of a reunion, then trouble arises, characters are separated again, and we find Kelsey off on a quest/adventure with Kishan. The development of their friendship/relationship is a fun ride. This story makes a great audio experience, though. The narration is good, in my mind Annika Boras comes alive as Kelsey and is quite convincing. She does a good job of conveying her emotions and confusion. Not to mention I must say Ren is a pleasure to "listen to".

Fantanstic!!!!

Would you listen to Tiger's Quest again? Why?

Yes and I probably will. This is a book that I can get lost in and I miss it now that it is over.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Picking a favorite is impossible. All the characters are built beautifully and they feel like real people to you.

What about Annika Boras’s performance did you like?

Conversations come to life in her narrations.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

This series is full of "moments". So many times, i caught myself holding my breath.

Any additional comments?

This is a series that I have lost myself in. I have fallen in love with the characters, laughed and cried in this series. I am anxiously awaiting book 4 and I miss the characters in this series in between books. I will come back to this series again and again.

A great read

I downloaded Tiger's Curse first because of all the positive reviews I read here about it. I was very glad I did. Although, Im in my 40's, and these books may be geared more for the young adult, I was thrilled with the story and really connected with the characters.

Finishing the first I immediately downloaded Tiger's Quest and was still very pleased with the story, characters, and action.

The third book, Tiger's Voyage is due to be released November 2011 and I can hardly wait.

Try them, you won't regret it.

Annika Boras also made this a great listen, she does a wonderful job and brings a true voice to each character.

Keeps getting better!!!

Sequel to Tiger???s Curse (read my review), this book takes off where the last one left you!!! The writing only gets better and the plot thickens??? This is a must read for those who love action, adventure, foreign places, and a little romance. My whole family loves this series and we can???t wait for the next one to be released.

Disappointing

I began this book eagerly having enjoyed the first book. The heroines internal conflict over the two brother's was tiresome to me and the sexually demanding brother was disturbing to the point that it eclipsed the interesting story of the quest theme.
I am stopping now and not continuing the series, this was too disappointing and felt too bubble-gum to me. Listening to it I was struck by the contradictions in the character of the heroine and the sexual messages this might convey to younger female (and male) readers about the basic respect of sexual boundaries between people.
Perhaps I am reacting strongly to it, but I am disappointed and unable to continue even though I would like to hear the quest resolution, sigh.

If you could sum up Tiger's Quest in three words, what would they be?

Awesome, gripping, emotional

Which scene was your favorite?

No favorite, loved the whole thing

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

The reader is awesome. Love her and how she brings the characters to life with her different voices.

Magical

One of the most original and interesting story lines in years. I actually listened to the first 2 books after reading them several years ago. This story is a little slow getting started but the last 3/4 of first book and following 3 books are so good, its worth the slow character development up front.

Great fun read if you enjoy fantasy

I mix my books from serious to SEALs to fantasy. This was a light book which I enjoyed and would recommend.

Kinda slow... or too fast.

What did you like best about this story?

I love that there are princes and tigers. Very good!

What about Annika Boras’s performance did you like?

She sounded down to earth, just like Kelsey. :)

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Makes me laugh alot! And sad about the relationships.... I love Ren!

Any additional comments?

Very good book and I liked the reader, but she spoke so slowly. When I sped it up it was too fast LOL! But this book is WAY too good to worry about it. :D
