Sixteen-year-old Katherine Mayes had never believed in mythological creatures like werewolves or mermaids - certainly not those sparkly vampires that her friend Abby was obsessed with.

It's a race against time - and the evil sorcerer Lokesh - in this eagerly anticipated fourth volume in the best-selling Tiger's Curse series, which pits good against evil, tests the bonds of love and loyalty, and finally reveals the tigers' true destinies once and for all.
Have really enjoyed this 4th installment in the Tigers Curse series. The story line builds beautifully from one book to the next and leaves you wanting more. I am in my 40's and even though this is considered a YA book, I truely find it enjoyable. It is not filled with typical "teenage" dilemmas or angst. Excellent story line filled with wonderful history/myths of India. I would recommend book/series for any age.

What did you like best about this story?
It was a beautiful love story
What does Annika Boras bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Annika Boras brings EVERYTHING to the story! I couldn't imagine a better narrator for all the different parts. I even looked up her name, but she does not have any other books that she has read, I would definitely give them a try!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me laugh out loud (at work) and, it made me cry as well!
Any additional comments?
The ending was the way I hoped it would be, kind of! With the imagination if the writer, I would love to ready maybe a 5th book.

What did you love best about Tiger's Destiny?
The way the series ending came together.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Ren. Faithful, enduring, mature.
What does Annika Boras bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Oh, she is superb! Without the reading you do not get the true Indian flavor of the books.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Many parts in this book made me cry.
Any additional comments?
The girls teen-aged angst is overplayed. A weak, insecure girl would never had taken the first step of this 2 year journey. But I really like the series of 4 books. I would skim over some of the parts to get to the core of the books and I found them enjoyable and well worth the read.

I loved this series! I am so sad that it is over, but everything has to come to an end and I was very happy with how this book ended. I cried, laughed and over all was very happy. I gave it 3 stars only because I felt like the story took a long time to get going, otherwise I was very happy with the book and have suggested the series multiple times

Definitely a fantasy tale but a great fun listen. I listened to the first book then back to something else. Then I created a fantasy MP3 and listened to the remaining three one after another. For me, the best way to go.
On top of a fun series Annika Boras was amazing if she actually played all parts. Have to give her credit for enhancing the book. Great team.
I hope Colleen Houck is working on another entertaining series.

Would you listen to Tiger's Destiny again? Why?
The narrator is wonderful. She does the girl and guy voices and makes it sound like there are a bunch of different narrators. She does the indian accents and others perfect like she did with the rest of the series. I wish she did more audio work. I hate when the main character is a girl and a man is talking with his normal voice when the main girl is narrating.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tiger's Destiny?
The ending! And everything before that.
What about Annika Boras’s performance did you like?
She did multiple voices so wonderfully. Her time in acting pays off.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Destiny will be sealed
Any additional comments?
Need more of this narrator.

What made the experience of listening to Tiger's Destiny the most enjoyable?
I have heard there are to be five books in this series, but after listening to this book, I am thinking Tiger's Destiny is the final one. The conclusion just felt so satisfying which is awesome. Some books don't give you that. I have loved this series so it is great to have it end so well.
I loved that Kelsey finals figures out who to be with - Ren or Kishan and stops driving them both nuts.
As usual for this series, it is full of adventure and romance! And the beginning sure starts out with a bang! The story gripped right from the first few minutes.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tiger's Destiny?
Meeting Durga in the past. Put a whole new twist on the entire series - I remembered back to particular scenes and saw them differently.
What does Annika Boras bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Love all the accents and characterizations. I don't know how she remembers the exact intonation for each of those many characters, but she does it. I can tell who is talking just from the way she speaks for each one.

I love the ideas and adventures, hate the main character for her clothing and whining.
Loved the whole series, have now enjoyed it 3 times! Constant roller-coaster of emotions. Thankyou!
This is the fourth book in the Tiger's Curse series. I LOVED it!
I again downloaded this as an audio book, as I wanted to read it, but just didn't have time. Annika Boras again narrated the tale, and she did another fantastic job.
Kelsey Hayes has grown in character and personality. It has been a pleasure to watch her grow from a teen full of angst into a woman who could face deadly challenges and become stronger (not only physically, but emotionally). However, that being said, I still wanted to either slap her or shake her on occasion. She is a rather stubborn character, who lets her emotions cloud her judgement. However, she has to make a choice that could be the ultimate sacrifice.
The story continues, and sees the trio of Kelsey, Ren and Kishan having to complete the fourth and final challenge to release the men from the curse that makes them change into tigers. This story was, in my opinion, one of the most emotional, and emotionally draining, rollercoaster rides of the series. There is plenty of danger, suspense, mythology and romance, and there are certainly a lot of twists and turns. Lokesh is disgustingly evil and cruel, and made my skin crawl. He is one of the scariest villains out there. The challenge to get the final piece, the Rope of Fire, is fraught with danger and Kelsey has to face her deepest fears. I am glad that Ren has gotten his memory back, but Kelsey is a stubborn woman! A character I have grown to love is killed off in this book, and I was left devastated; I had tears streaming down my face as I listened to the scene. There is also a bit of time travel in this story, and we meet Annamika, a warrior in an Indian army fighting a demon. I liked Annamika. She is a fierce warrior, a great leader and a loving sister, but she has a formidable mission ahead of her; She will need all of Kelsey's, Ren's and Kishan's help to fulfill it.There was definite chemistry between Annimika and Kishan, and though the sniping was a little juvenile at times, I could sense the passion behind the words. This story has some amazing battle scenes that were so well described, I felt like I was in the midst of it. The story has a heart wrenching twist near the end, but there is also a wedding. The ending, though not having a huge cliffhanger, has left me looking forward to listening/reading the next book in the series. However, since I don't know when it will be ready, I will console myself by reading the prequel novella, Tiger's Promise, which has just been released.
Colleen Houck has written another fantastic YA adventure. I love her writing style, which is fast paced and exciting, without being rushed and the flow is wonderful. Her research into myths and legends seems to have been rather thorough, but well embellished with poetic licence. This made the story seem more believable in places, but also a bit far fetched in others. This is not a complaint, because I like stretching my beliefs, especially in entertainment. It keeps things interesting.
I highly recommend this book if you love YA, Mythology, Romance or Action/Adventure genres. - Lynn Worton
