Wow
I don't know how you can make a second installment better than the first, I personally struggled with the first book but this one I am blown a way by. Incredible storyline and character development which I thought was lacking in the first. I cannot wait to get started on the next and I will definitely recommend this series in the future.

Good transition story
Clearly a transition between books 1 and 3. I liked that there was minimal retelling of book 1. There were periods where i felt that there was too much angst over emotion or perceptions of relationships, but i guess that is in order of a teen genre, and i was happy to be able to speed up the narration
Im looking forward to the 3rd book. Especially since I've just now looked at the mixed reviews in regards to the ending

This is a heroic read. In this second part of the triology we see the characters grow and mature in this Universe.
