Publisher's Summary

Penguin presents the audiobook edition of The Burning Maze by Rick Riordan, read by Robbie Daymond.

I was a god once. Until I was cast out by my father, Zeus. Now I'm an awkward mortal teenager called Lester.

My way out? A series of scary and dangerous trials, of course. For my third mission, I must:

Journey through the Labyrinth to free an Oracle who speaks only in puzzles.

Defeat a vicious and bloodthirsty Roman Emperor - the most vicious of three very vicious and bloodthirsty Roman Emperors.

Is that all? No, I've to do everything without any of my godly powers. Wonderful. Looks like I'll be needing all the help I can get. From new friends and old....

Book 3 very good

Great listen, Apollo still being annoying but it takes a special kind of story to keep you listening. Cannot wait for book 4. Enjoyable and worth the time taken to listen

grwoth through pain

Apollo grows up after several millennia as a spoiled brat. No master like pain. Meg is great. A whole lot of pain, a whole lot of purpose.

Brilliant stories, brilliant narration!

I love all of Rick Riordan's series on Audible so far. I'm impatient for new titles to come out, now I have caught up with everything he's written.
The way he weaves ancient and modern themes together is fascinating. Rick Roirdan is a master of cliffhangers. Read them in the right order for maximum enjoyment, including the crossovers between worlds and systems. (His webpage tells you the right chronological sequence.)

I've enjoyed the whole series so far

It's been great so far. Not the best. And a few things do annoy me such as saying Gaia wrong. Although, I thought he was going to get it right this time as the first time her name was pronounced he got it right, then every time after wrong.

Also, at the beginning I thought it was a new narrator as his Meg was off from previous books.

Anyway, it was a nice listen, and cheaper to use a credit rather than paying almost £10 for the book, and more convenient as I listen while at work.

It will be nice seeing what happens next as it seems this series will be 5 books long. It would have been nice to mix it up further with some Norse or Egyptian stuff going on. The 3 emperor's could have been so much better if one was from Rome, one from Egypt, and the last from the Norse. That would have been awesome having to deal with all three crossing over.

Apollo

Apollo is the best but Zeus is pretty cool (no disrespect intended) to the God Apollo

wonderful and excellent book

it is an excellent book with wonderful storylines but for me i loved the part in which Jason dies but only because it is a heart felt moment and not because i hate Jason.
