Publisher's Summary

The zombie apocalypse is not forgiving, especially in the world of The Orphans. A group of teens, against all odds, continue to survive against the challenges presented to them in a world where the rules have changed and the Turned are trying to devour them. These are not your typical slow zombies, these zombies are fast, strong, and by far the smartest that you will encounter. Don't miss Strangers!

    "Children are the future!!"
Where does Strangers rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is one of my favorite audiobook to listen to. Action books are so great to listen to. You get that sense of almost being in the thick of things with these kids.

What did you like best about this story?

Mike Evans has a real hit series on his hands. It fascinates me how much happens to these kids and like my own they are so resilient and keep going. I'm a little saddened that one of the characters I had really grown to love and was rooting for got taken out and turned into a zombie. It seriously made me pull over, park my car, and have a good cry. That's what happens when you are immersed in a book so good you feel like you're living it. I usually listened to this book during the 45 min commute to work. But I was so attached I sometimes randomly drove around just to see what would happen next. Kudos Mike to another great addition to the Orphans series. I'm ready for four!!

Have you listened to any of Jack Wallen, Jr.’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Jack Wallen is so talented. He narrated the previous Orphans books that I listened to. Honestly I don't think I'd want anyone else to. He hits the highs and lows, pauses and excitements at just the right times. His rendition of female characters are very passible.

    Any additional comments?

Everyone that loves zombie apocalypse books needs to add this series to their collection!! Those that don't should get it for the great human bonding story.

    "Another Awesome Zombie Adventure! !!"

Awesome story!! It continues where Orphans 2 ended. Its day 3 of the zombie outbreak!!! I laughed and I cried following Shaun and his kick ass friends on their continued struggle to survive the zombie apocalypse! ! They meet some new friends and lost some others! It's a fast paced action packed story that had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end! !! I love that Mike Evans put his own spin on these zombies, they certainly aren't your typical slow moving zombies!! I'll be having nightmares! !!

Book 3 in the series. A great book, and wonderfully narrated. All three of the books was a pleasure to listen to.

"Another great addition to the series!"

Mike Evans has hit it out of the park once again.
If you enjoy Zombie Apocalypse this is a series you should definitely check out. In this third book the characters really start to come into own. You are able to see where they are going and how they will be coping with the future if there is one. Excellent story and great narration!

A good continuation for the Orphans, So much stuff happens to these poor kids but they seemed to always be able to handle anything that is tossed out them and stay strong as a team to keep on moving forward. Who can the trust, no one but them selfs. I am excited for book 4

    "and on to Book Two!"

I downloaded this before I even finished Book One! Is it worth it? Oh Heck Yeah!
By the end of book one I really wanted to know what is going to happen to Shaun, Ellie and the rest of the group. Once again Mike Evans gives us a great read. These Zombies are crazy!

    "this story just gets better"

I've been hooked since the beginning and I just keep wanting more. Our little band of Orphans won't give up. Never a good idea to have a favorite character with a Mike Evans story, he'll only break your heart. Love hearing The Orphans - Strangers coming "alive" in my head.
