Story decent but reader is horrible

What did you like best about Rapture? What did you like least?

The reader of this series almost made me give up on it altogether. I did not find her cadence, tone, or characterizations to add anything beneficial to the book.

Perfect finale

What did you love best about Rapture?

I've been waiting what seems like forever for this finale and it did not disappoint. I will miss Daniel and Lucinda but the ending was PERFECT!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Rapture?

**SPOILER ALERT**
When Lucinda remembers that she was previously the lover for Lucifer. That was crazy!

I have no idea how I made it this far

I wish I wouldn't have read this whole series. I don't think the main characters were extremely likable and I thought the writing was very elementary. Even in the last book, I wasn't sure who I wanted Luce to end up with.

I love this series!!!!!!!!!

Omg!!! I love this series so much!! I have never connected to a series so much, I have been reading this since I was 13 the first book Fallen I read and it helped me come out of a huge depression in my life and it helped me through so much.
It gave me this love for books about angels and demons and love that no other book ever has.
You will fall in love with this series in the first chapter! I recommend this book to everyone who wants a friend (cause these characters are so real.) and anyone who needs to believe in true love again.
I can't say enough good about this book series, and rapture was the perfect ending!!!
Read this book!!!
So amazing!!
My first true love in book form!

Guilty Pleasure

What did you love best about Rapture: Fallen, Book 4?

That I had no idea what was going to happen and that the end was very satisfying and everything got answered.

Who was your favorite character and why?

All the demons - because they weren't bad they just didn't want to be one cult obsessed and worship blindly. They wanted to choose for themselves.

Have you listened to any of Justine Eyre’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I did like Daniel I just got a bit sick of his do goodyness.

Any additional comments?

If you like fantasy you ill like this. It is very similar to Twilight series but in my opinion it finished better.

A great ending to an exciting series

What did you love best about Rapture?

I loved the ending! It was perfect

Have you listened to any of Justine Eyre’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I listened to The Fallen and loved it. Justine Eyre did a masterful job telling the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The ending. Throughout the series I wondered how it would come together. Lauren Kate wrote a perfect ending - in itself a new beginning. Her characters are amazing. I loved them all.

Any additional comments?

I can't wait for her next book. Luce is a strong young woman, smart, athletic, thoughtful, smart and able to stand on her own. Sometimes when the male characters are so charismatic the heroine is diminished. Luce was surrounded by gorgeous, charismatic angels and stood toe to toe with all of them.

Still not sure about this one

I love Luce and I've read this series over and over but I didn't like the way this ended. I don't want to give away what happens but this happy ending wasn't the same happy ending I was hoping for. I've still rated it high because I loved most of the book and the performance is perfect.

Another book, PLEASE!

I honestly loved this series. The only downside is that some things were never really explained.... like, I would have loved to know more about Trevor's death. They mentioned it in the first book and it was never touched on again. Seemed odd that the event that essentially set up the start of the book was just forgotten. Also, it seemed like Cam's personal life was just coming to light and then it just dropped out of the book completely. The scene where Daniel was telling Luce that they don't talk about Cam's broken heart etc... would have been nice since it was brought up for them to continue/resolve the issue, instead of mentioning it and then never discussing it again. Aside from those two issues, I honestly loved this series. I only hope that Lauren Kate will write another book where Luce and Daniel are together as mortals... maybe have some conflict amongst the angels/demons where L&Ds help is required or something. There are a lot of ways it could go, but I just don't want there to be NO continuation with their love story, for it's now one of my favorites. I'm sad that it's over. I'll be thinking about this series for a long time.

Engaging

As a Christian, I had to take myself out of this, just knowing that it’s just a story. But I was irritated that she made God a woman which is not accurate at all. If that was the case life for women would be very different, but other than that the whole series got a lot better it was hard for me to get through the first book, this is the second time I tried to listen/read through the whole series, but it was very interesting
