Great unique fantasy!

Prism is a fantasy that is different from books that have magically enhanced persons. I like the concept, the characters, the plot, twists, the slight romance, and the great magically abilities. More of a teen/young adult book. Narrators were wonderful. They had a male and female to perform each part, per chapter.

WOW - This was exciting.

I am not a real fan of dystopian but this book cover was catchy and the blurb was entertaining. The characters are developed and the written is pretty good. I look forward to listening to or reading the others in this series.

Even the narrators' voice gave the story life!

Creative and Intriguing

I like that this book is a great book for a variety of ages. I could listen to it even with my children around. I was drawn in by the need to know what was going to happen to the characters. The use of color as power is such a fun idea and I love how the author made the visual of magic so fun and creative. I think even boys could enjoy this book. I am looking forward to the next book Fracture.

It Hooked Me!

A girl that can control color!!! I have read many young adult books and they all have similarities, but this one is unique! Alchemists control colors! The story line does not stall; it keeps building and twisting! I'm excited to see where the next book takes me!! I love all of the characters! They are all magnetic! The question I ask myself is- How powerful is Jessa?????

Very well written! Easy to listen to. Couldn’t stop listening. If you like fantasy, this book is definitely for you.

Neat idea, more young teen

This story has a great concept. It tended to place way to much emphasis on possibly might have kissed once then twice as important.
Besides that the plot rolled out rather too point by point and too slowly for me listening. In book form I tend to speed read these spots. Still I really did like the concept.

YES!! The story is beyond exciting, very well written and unlike anything I have ever read! The writer/readers really keep your mind guessing until the last minute!

I honestly don't think anything really truly compares to this book! It is unlike anything I have read before.

What does Emily Bauer and Michael Crouch bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They bring such life to the characters they are portraying. I loved that they took turns reading the different chapters depending on whether it was Jessa or Lucas, I enjoyed the change from traditional audio books that are one reader for the whole book.

I absolutely loved the book, but the audiobook brought it to a whole new level! The characters swapping back and forth really helped me to understand different points of view and brought an amazing story to life. I can’t wait to listen to Fracture
