Michael Quaid is not your average teenager - he has spent his entire life in captivity under the scrutiny of the PANTHEON Foundation. Now he has escaped into a world he doesn't know or understand. To survive, he must depend on the help of a stranger and use his special abilities to fend off those trying to capture him.

I'm a sucker for characters with powers or special abilities of any kind. The main character of this book has spent his life as a prisoner, for no reason other than his abilities. One day he gets fed up, and the story takes off from there. I would have liked to see a little more of his powers in this book, but I liked what we did see. I enjoyed the friendship that started to grow between Micheal and the mountain man. I felt that the book wrapped up perfectly! There was just enough given right at the end to make the reader really want the next book. The narrator of this audiobook had a nice voice, and I hope he does the next book as well. I really enjoyed this book, and will be looking forward to what comes next.

This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast.
The authors descriptive voice is excellant. The Narrator made the character voices distinct. I look forward to reading/listening to another book by both this author and narrator.
