Publisher's Summary

I'm pushing aside the memory of my nightmare, pushing aside thoughts of Alex, pushing aside thoughts of Hana and my old school, push, push, push, like Raven taught me to do. The old life is dead. But the old Lena is dead too. I buried her. I left her beyond a fence, behind a wall of smoke and flame.

Lauren Oliver delivers an electrifying follow-up to her acclaimed New York Times best seller, Delirium. This riveting, brilliant novel crackles with the fire of fierce defiance, forbidden romance, and the sparks of a revolution about to ignite.

    "Loved it"

Love Sarah Drew she does a fabulous job narrating the story. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this book. I thought the story would struggle once Lena entered the Wilds. I found it to be much better than the first book in my opinion. I liked how it went back and forth from then and now it made the story more interesting and kept me wanting to listen more.

    "Love this series!"

The reader was a bit slow, there was many instances when I read ahead and had to go back but other than that, I enjoyed it. Loved it even.

    "Love audible version
    "

I purchased this series for my high school library and the students and I really liked the series. I have always enjoyed audiobooks when I'm in the car, so I purchased the audible version for when I'm traveling. No commercials!

This was well performed and I enjoyed it all over again. I now have the entire series as audiobooks and I find that I can listen to an audible book more than once, possibly because the media type is different, when traveling you are often distracted and multitasking, therefore you hear new things each time you listen. I often skim favorite print books, but seldom will take the time to completely reread a book no matter how much I loved it.

I highly recommend the entire series. it is YA fiction, but I'm rather addicted to YA after 31 years of reading, reviewing , purchasing, and recommending books to my students and children and grandchildren.

    "Overall Good Book"

I loved the book but didn't like how the chapters was set up. It was difficult to remember what happened in the last chapter. (Not saying it was hard to understand but while listening it was just hard to tell the when it was then and now.) It was still a good story.

"Slow start, but just as good as the first!"

When I first started listening I didn't like it because the story was bleak, but it eventually warmed up and now that I have finished, I think it is just as good as the first book in the series! Lauren Oliver has such a good blending of emotion and action. I can't wait to start the next book!

"love requires a "cure" | hmmm..."

This is a general review for the whole Delirium series. Maybe 4 STARS isn't fair. After all, I really liked this series. The story and the characters were extremely well-written. If I were a fan of dystopia -- not that this is a dystopian novel, exactly -- I think I would have rated it 5 STARS. It's just that so many bad things happened and, in my opinion, not enough good things were there to even it out. Obviously, that's a personal preference. That being said, it was still really good and I definitely recommend it.

    "Good book"

I like the book, the story was quick moving but also detailed. The only criticism I have is from the first book to this one they changed how to pronounce Hana and it made me cringe

A great addition to the series, but why would you suddenly change the pronunciation of Hanna's name????

    "Great sequel!"

Sequels rarely stand up to the quality of the original (exceptions include "The Hunger Games" and "Divergent" series), but this one does. And it ends with a provocative situation requiring me to immediately purchase and download the next book in this series.
