Publisher's Summary

Fight with the horde... or die with love.

Separated by time and space, our heroes finally return home. But five years have passed and they find a nightmarishly changed world. The despised Horde are now in control. The healing lakes of Elyon are now blood red. And mighty Thomas Hunter and his Forest Guard have disappeared. Then the world unravels further.

Dive into a journey among the Horde whose sole mission is the destruction of the Circle. Come face-to-face with an enchantingly beautiful creature with unearthly powers - and questionable motives. Take a stand with the chosen but be wary, for all is not as it seems.

Now the chosen themselves are questioning their very sanity. For the only way to win may be to lose. The only way to live may be to die. And the only one to lead may be a lunatic.

Still masterful, despite disappointing direction

If you could sum up Lunatic in three words, what would they be?

Unpredictable, interesting, smart

What other book might you compare Lunatic to and why?

Which character – as performed by Tim Gregory – was your favorite?

Darsal

Any additional comments?

Great story. It certainly lives up to the rest of the series. I found myself yelling at the characters for being so easily beset, but in the process I realized that what upset me the most is how easily beset I have been. As usual with Ted Dekker, it's more than just a story!

not what I was expecting

I am a huge fan of the Circle Trilogy books, but these (from the Lost Books series) are poorly thought out, jump around a lot, and have a s

I was disappointed that it went to the "pop topic"

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I was disappointed that it went to the "pop topic" of vampires. Seemed much darker and more evil than other books. However, the wrestling with (and sometimes loosing to) evil was well portrayed.

Would you recommend Lunatic to your friends? Why or why not?

If you like Dekker it is in the same vein as the others in the series. Just some darker twists.

What does Tim Gregory bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Excellent read.

Was Lunatic worth the listening time?

yep

Exciting & pacey - the story continues!

Again I couldn't stop until I got to the red! Fab! The story takes us on, through amazing adventures with our heroes doing fierce battle & finding romance. An exciting read - don't miss it!
