Following in her footsteps in the early 1980s, Brenda Berkman was the first woman to challenge New York City’s ban on female firefighters. An Interesting Compilation…
Katherine Kellgren is always an excellent reader. This is an interesting compilation of very short biographies that Ms. Kimmel researched well, and summarized expertly. She tells us that she narrowed down these 40 women for their significant contributions to the positive progression of women’s lives. You will probably want to delve more into their lives, as they are awe inspiring!
