Publisher's summary

From USA Today best-selling author CL Stone, listen to Introductions, the first book in The Academy Ghost Bird Series.

With an agoraphobic mother and a barely-there father, Sang abhors the isolation keeping her in the shadows. The only thing Sang craves is a fresh start and to be accepted as ordinary by her peers, because for her being different meant being cast out alone. When her family moves to a new school district, Sang infiltrates a group of boys nearly perfect in every way. Grateful for an influence outside of her parents' negativity, she quickly bonds with the boys, hoping to blend in and learn from them what it means to have a natural relationship with friends. Only the boys have secrets of their own and they'll do anything to keep her safe from the knowledge of the mysterious Academy that they've sworn allegiance to. Bit by bit, Sang discovers that her friends are far from the normalcy she expected. Will her loyalty change when she's forced to remain in the dark, or will she accept that she's traded one house of secrets for another? Meet Kota, Victor, Silas, Nathan, Gabriel, Luke, and North in a story about differences and loyalty, truth and mystery, friendships, and heart-throbbing intimacy. The Academy, ever vigilant.

Lovely

This book was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend for anyone that wants a little mystery and a little teen drama. I really enjoyed this narrator but it would be neat if there was a male narrator to read the boys voices. Throughout the book the boys all started to sound alike and had the same accents which sometimes made it confusing. Otherwise, a lovely read!

Amazing

The narration on this book is by far one of the best i have heard since i started listening to audio books. The range of voices is amazing. The author drew me in from the beginning and before i knew it this had quickly become one of my favorite books. the problems the characters face may not be what everyone has to face in their day to day life, however there are people who do face similar problems and i think the author showed the characteers handling the problems with clear minds and only the best interests of everyone else in mind. The bnoys are protective and swoon worthy and you will love them just as much as i did.

So I have already read all of her books and have been in love for a while. I just got into audible so I figured I’d try to reread it again just on here. I was scared I wasn’t going to like someone narrating it but she did amazing . Her voice is perfect for sang and she does pretty good voices for all the guys . LOVE

Perfection!

This books reminded me that their are still good guys out there. If the other books are anything like this one, then I will be a fan for life!
Natalie Eaton did an amazing job at making each character's voice differentiate. She did an fantastic job with the boys voices. Quite impressive.
C.L. Stone never fails at providing flawless writing that will keep you at the edge of your seat craving more and more. The individual relationships that Sang has with each of the boys is so unique. Her tenderness is so sweet. I cannot wait to begin the next book!
