Introducing Ruin Mist serves as an introduction to Robert Stanek's fantasy world. This is nicely done and worth a listen whether you are a fan or not. It's short and free. Very cool!

As an introduction to Stanek's amazing fantasy world, this is pretty decent. The music throughout adds to the experience. With a running time of about 9 1/2 minutes, it's short enough to hold anyone's interest. As a longtime read of the author's work, I enjoyed learning more about the history of the world and the many languages and peoples.
I think any fan of the author will love it. Those who are new to the author may find it a bit short but hey it's free.

Robert Stanek's Ruin Mist books include The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches books and the In the Service of Dragons books. This is a very good introduction to his amazing books.

My friend Dean played it for me and it got me interested in reading In the Service of Dragons. Very cool and it's free!

The background music to this review was very annoying and distracting from the story. What the story is about sounds interesting though.
I must say, i downloaded this promo out of genuine interest in exploring Robert Stanek's works. However, i simply couldn't get passed the utterly terrible promo pitch. It was if the narrator was trying (without much success) not to laugh his way through the piece. Robert Stanek should be lobbying to have this promo removed, as it in no way encourages interest in his work.
