Publisher's Summary

It's back to school for the start of a new term. Indigo's returning after a bout of glandular fever and is dreading it. Rose is worrying about Indigo, and her new glasses. Saffy is busy dictating Rose's homework answers, while Caddy agonizes over ways to dump her current boyfriend. And their mother, Eve, is busy trying to dry her latest painting with a hairdryer.

Some things never change. But this term Tom, has joined Indigo's class. And that will make all the difference.

I Loved it!!

This was a great book. Indigo's Star is the second book of Hilary McKay's books based on the Casson family. The story takes place in modern-day England. Eve and Bill are both artists and the parents of Caddy, Indigo, Rose and their adopted sister Saffy. Get ready for a book full excitment and adventure!! This is a MUST HAVE!!

great book

This is a wonderful book. The characters are complex and well described. It is poignant and also very funny. My kids love it, we have played the tape many times.
