Publisher's summary

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout comes a remarkable new novel about the choices we make and the heartbreak and hope they can bring.

"Thought-provoking and powerful." —Erin Watt, #1 New York Times bestselling author Lena Wise is always looking forward to tomorrow, especially at the start of her senior year. She's ready to pack in as much friend time as possible, to finish college applications and to maybe let her childhood best friend Sebastian know how she really feels about him.

For Lena, the upcoming year is going to be epic—one of opportunities and chances. Until one choice, one moment, destroys everything. Now Lena isn't looking forward to tomorrow. Not when friend time may never be the same. Not when college applications feel all but impossible. Not when Sebastian might never forgive her for what happened. For what she let happen. With the guilt growing each day, Lena knows that her only hope is to move on. But how can she move on when her and her friends' entire existences have been redefined? How can she move on when tomorrow isn't even guaranteed?

Real Eye Opener

What made the experience of listening to If There's No Tomorrow the most enjoyable?

I really enjoyed the real life issues Jen tackles in this book. These are issues that can happen to ANYONE. She really hits the nail on the head with this one. It makes it an enjoyable read because it's very relatable.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Sebastian! I picture him as a young Jensen Ackles. He's sweet and you just can't dislike him. Total "boy next door" vibe.

What about Jorjeana Marie’s performance did you like?

She did a very good job with the performance of this title. Her tone captures the feelings of the character very well. Excellent work!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely, wanted to listen to this book in one sitting. I work from home so I really enjoy books I can dive into while working away.

Any additional comments?

This is definitely a teen read, but can be read by adults as well. I highly recommend this book to a new listener! You will not be disappointed!

Never ending whiny character

This book was not for me. The character was too whiny and obsessed over people finding out her secret which was no Secret at all. Everyone knew what she was trying to hide, it was a no-brainer. There was no climax, no suspense. I couldn’t wait for this book to be over.

Going in my top list for books

I bled and healed with her… this actually happened when I was younger… a friend died…. But then everyone drove drunk to visit his grave and there was an accident and we lost more…. Maybe that’s why I hold this book close? Who knows, but it has a special place in my heart now and always will.

Beyond my expectations!! ♥️

I have not read any YA in a long time that was not supernatural or paranormal. I usually require books to have those elements. THIS BOOK ONCE AGAIN PROVED THAT A BOOK CAN BE FANTASTIC without those elements. Author Jennifer L Armentrout is an amazing writer. I try to read ANYTHING she writes. She superceded my expectations of this book. Thank you JLA for showing me how amazing YA can really be! ♥️♥️♥️

Life lessons

I continuously was on the edge of ‘OMG’ and ‘WTH’, but ‘if there’s no tomorrow’ is scarily precise in life events and struggles. I highly recommend this book being read in high schools, Or any person who has a teen in their house. This will teach life lessons and decisions no one should have to face at a young age or ever but it happens on a daily basis. Thank you Jennifer for another amazing book.

Such a bittersweet tear-jerker that...

Such a bittersweet tear-jerker that wormed its way into my heart... And my favorites pile.

I have never read a story like this before. Literally. Never read anything like this. Therefore, it made itself known. It spoke for itself. The story spoke to me rather than the mundane act of I reading the words or listening to an audiobook. It was something that made me wonder and relate. Albeit I did cry, however, that is not the point. This isn't just a story. This has the potential to be anyone's anecdote, sadly, which gives this a raw and true grit feel. There was the good, the bad, and everything in between that gave a more of a vividness to the way this was portrayed.

I love this.

? Not sure but

The only thing that I didn’t like is if you listened at a high speed you could hear what sounded like the reader catching her breath constantly or something like that drove me nuts.

Moving Story

When I first started listening to this book I thought it would be a lighthearted story. I was surprised when it took a turn and became so much deeper. Jennifer did a really good job showing the process of grief, guilt, and learning to move on after a horrible tragedy. Even though it was very painful at times to stay with the story, I couldn't put it down because it was so well written. I enjoyed the characters and the growth Lena underwent throughout the book.
