five is a little crybaby

Would you consider the audio edition of I Am Number Four to be better than the print version?

Although I hate the fact that five is such a crybaby I still enjoyed the read. It at least gave insight on why 5 is such a jerk and a traitor. Even with the little stuff he went through, to me it still didn't make sense for him to turn his back on his people! I hope they get him good in the next book

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the whole story pretty much.

Nice backstory on Five

I thought the narration of these stories was excellent, really brought the characters to life for me.
*****SPOILER ALERT*****
I thought these stories did a great job of showing where Five gets his attitude. It shows he's always been the type of character who will never admit when he's wrong. He is a typical "whiney teenager" who needs to grow up and hopefully will. He is not at all what the others are and would never help to save earth. He his where he should be, with the losers, and not with the winners!
If you are a fan of this series, I highly recommend this installment. The series would be incomplete without it!

A little weak compared to the other books

Would you try another book from Pittacus Lore and/or MacLeod Andrews and Johnathan McClain ?

Yes

If you’ve listened to books by Pittacus Lore before, how does this one compare?

The contents of this book should have been included in the last book of the series. The last book was short and very disappointing in my opinion. The background and content here could have made the last book more complete. Instead we have to buy 2 books to get 1.

Which scene was your favorite?

I enjoyed Ray pretending there was a Mog attack to try and jolt number 5 into taking the war more seriously. Number 5 is that high maintenance person that needs constant praise to feel important - unfortunatley for the Lorien it didn't work.

Could you see I Am Number Four being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I am number Four is a movie, but yes I think the rest of the books should be turned into a movie as well. The original actors should return.

Any additional comments?

The Lost Files started as an add-on to bring additional information to the story without turning the books into long novels. However, they are now being used to generate more revenue and the series is suffering because of it.

Read it, but don't stop.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend this book to anyone who want to get into a good series that will take a while to get through and keep you interested.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Where is the next book.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Six is introduced; she is a total bad-ass cutie.

Do you think I Am Number Four needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

There needs to be a book after the 7th. We need to know so much more!

Any additional comments?

This book is by far the worst story-wise of all the books in the proper series (ie not including the side books). The first book starts off basically like a teen love story with super powers; the next book is totally awesome and I couldn't put it down. They just keep getting better and better. Make it through this one to learn the characters and back story, then get ready because the series get really good.

Pretty good

I've read all but the new book so far. I reread them all with the lost files books interspersed this time. I like them. This one was good. It was quite dark but a necessary explanation to Five's back story. I almost feel a little sad for him where before I disliked him strongly. Worth the read even though it's not a super happy story.
