Loved it!

I absolutely loved this story! It had danger, romance, suspense, humor, and love in it. I found myself staying up very late listening to this book and read it in one sitting! For awhile, I was actually gripping the arms of my chair from the suspense. I wanted to yell R U N !!!

Candy Cane has been friends with Libby for most of her life. The girls did everything together and even Candy's parents called Libby their daughter too. After graduation, Candy's parents moved to New Mexico and the girls had to support themselves. One night in order to buy food, they played pool shark to the wrong guys. While they only won 400.00, one of the men was so mad, he put out a hit on them. From here, you will have to read the book to see what happens...

The author, Nancy Straight did a fantastic job writing this story! I was so involved the entire book as the plot was that good. The danger and suspense was awesome. I am still nervous for the girls as I write this. The narrator, Jill Maglione was great too! With all her voices and accents, she was very entertaining. I can't wait to read the next of this series Fractured Karma! I know Mark has a story to tell!!! Kudos to both ladies for a job well done!

Finding Where Home is!

l have listened to every audio that Nancy Straight had available on Audible but I put this one off for some reason and now wish I hadn't. I have fallen in LOVE with this story, a brand new series, Brewer Brothers. Nancy, I'm one of your biggest fans but you know I only listen to stories, I don't have time to read and most narrators do an amazing job bringing life to a story. Please, please don't forget to add it to Audible. I can connect you to some amazing narrators that won't leave you penniless. I know if you read my reviews, you'll read that I don't like romance stories but I really enjoyed this contemporary romance. The story was perfect, it has a much needed meaning in this story I found, well for me, I found this story has a great meaning so see if you will find it. I especially found Candy and Dave loveable, sweet, and fun character's. Nancy, you won me over writing about the car model that Candy got when she was in high school. My heart ached as I learned about Dave and his brother Mark. I'm waiting patiently for Fractured Karma to come to Audible.
Narrator, Jill Maglione did a fantastic job as she gave us her take on His Frozen Heart. I think she did a darn good job with the male voices and I didn't have any problems with being able to identify the character's who spoke throughout this story. She gave this story life as she put her spin on it. Jill held my attention right from the start to the very end. Jill had me engrossed and I didn't stop until it was finished. Overall, this story gets a perfect 5. 🌟 rating from me.

Great story and great narration!

I read this book earlier in the year, but was completely excited to find out it was available on audiobook as well! Listening to this story made it even better. Nancy Straight has written such a wonderful tale and Jill Maglione brought all these great characters to life! Her voices for each of the characters help illustrate the wonderful world of Candy and Dave!

Candy and her best friend Libby need grocery money and a simple wager for milk and bread turns into a nightmare as Libby is attacked and winds up in the hospital nearly dead! Determined to find Libby's attacker, Candy finds herself running for her life. She finds herself re-aquainted with her old friend Dave from high school. But Dave has a past that Candy doesn't know about. Will Dave's past wind up being the key to Candy's safety or is his past the reason she'said on the run?

Weather you've already read the book or are new to tale, I highly recommend His Frole Heart for all suspenseful romance novel fans!

Annoying.

Obviously written by a young, inexperienced writer. Story content was unrealistic. Reader’s voice inflections were juvenile and overly exaggerated.
