Great series

I love this series! I love Patch and Nora has grown to be a strong heroine! Again Caitlin did a great job narrating

Pleasantly surpised

This was a cute paranormal series that was more keen on mystery more so then romance. It was very PG on the romance but the mystery factor kept everything interesting. This paranormal series are about battling races of Angels on earth. Fallen Angels from heaven are curse not to feel physical sensation on Earth, the only way Fallen Angels can have human sensation is to posses a race of fallen angel / human hybrid called the Nephilim. The Nephilim posses human sensation along with immortality and fallen angel strength. Fallen Angels seek out Nephilim when they turn 16 years old to make them swear an oath of fealty to the Angel so that 2 weeks out of the year the fallen angel can posses the Nephilim like a parasite and gain human sensation. Nora Grey didn't have much invested in the war until she procured a fallen angel boyfriend Patch and was made a pure blood Nephilim by her biological father that was the leader of the Nephilim army that Nora inherited upon his death. What is Nora to do?

very fun listening and credit worthy

I love this series

There were a few of things that I didn't like about this particular book in the series. I would have really liked for the male narrator to have played more of the parts where Patch was a major character in the scene. A sub plot to enhance Patch's part within the story would have enriched the plot. I truly feel that this was a huge missed opportunity. Lastly, although a book for young readers, the author implied a physical relationship at the end of the book, but never acted upon it. At the risk of sounding like a voyeur, it was a major let down. Instead, we got a "three years later" after Becca Fitzpatrick built up the character's obvious longings for each other and we got nothing. I believe that something could have been tastefully done without getting too graphic, for the sake of the younger readers. After all, I'm pretty sure they (Nora and Patch) were married when they got to the "unfinished business" that Patch referred to. Which is a good thing, right?

Loved it, great story. The ending had my crying my eyes out. This is definitely a must read!

A beautiful ending

We continue our story with Nora and Patch. I've loved seeing the growth of these two characters and their relationship. However, in this one, their relationship starts to get a tad bit rocky.

There's a fake breakup, plus Patch's ex making an appearance or two, and things are not setting right with Nora! That's the last thing she needs to be worried about while she's trying to lead her father's army into war against fallen angels! 😅

We see a side of Nora in this book that we haven't seen before. More daring and deceiving 😈 And although I don't like the lies, I liked seeing her rise to the occasion and not back down! Her determination and loyalty to those she loves is admirable. I really enjoy her as a young MC.

I was yelling towards the end about the things that were happening 😫 all I'll say is, feathers, fire and chained in hell 😳

The final installment to the Hush Hush series and I couldn't have asked for a better ending! Ok, I COULD, because we lose a wonderful character in this one 🥺

Other than that, this one has it all! Love, betrayal, heartbreak, deception, lies, twists and turns and definitely things I DID NOT see coming! 👀 highly recommended YA series!

Loved it

It was such a good listen. Would recommend the whole series. I wish there was more to the series

Great ending

At first, I was annoyed with this book. In the beginning Nora is back and forth, never making a decision and whining... a lot. Then mid way through it finally starts to pick up, there is more action, people are finally taking a stand, and there are a few twists and turns to pick up the pace of the story.
I'm happy with the way it ended, plans do not turn out the way they are supposed to, and not everyone lives happily ever after! Sometimes it's good to read a book that takes a different path. For the most part, we find closure with a lot of characters, but there are still a few that your left wondering.. what happened to them? There are was a lot more action in this one, which kept me turning the pages, so to speak.

I really enjoyed the series, but I'm glad it ended with book 4 as the storyline was beginning to bore me. It does go out with a bang though...
