A fantastic, fabulous, funny YA debut from Jeffery Self, one of the gay icons of the YouTube generation, that follows one high school student on a drag race to his future.

Debut author Jeffery Self takes us on a road trip with an insecure high school senior who has one goal: to be the first in his family to leave Clearwater, Florida, and go to college. So much fun.

I wanted more. I wanted pictures to see what I imagined the characters to look like matched. Lots of great little lessons about life..

Wonderful Surprise

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book based on the title. I enjoy Ru Pauls Drag Race, and admire Dan Savage; so based on his recommendation I bought the book. It was a wonderful surprise and a moving delight. A coming of age story that non drag queens can relate to. The performance was the icing on the cake. Can't wait to read more from this talented author.

Much better than I expected

I'm not big on drag Queens so I wasn't sure if I would like this story but it was really great. The characters were easy to like and relate to and the story was cute and we'll told. It would actually make a real good movie.
