Publisher's summary

Ten years have passed since Charlie was dropped off at his grandparents' home in the middle of the night. His parents promised they'd return but never did. Sent to Saint Michael's Abbey & Home for Boys by his Uncle Chester, Charlie finds himself in the middle of yet another mystery. Awakened in the middle of the night, Charlie hears a sound coming from the attic above his bed. Together with his new friends - Howard, Gus, and Rick - they set out to find the ghost in the attic.

Great Read!

I didn't really know what to expect at first. I'm not much on ghost stories and was a little afraid of what would go on in an orphanage. What a surprise! This is an interesting story of boys being boys while living under the loving guidance of the good monks. There are some mysteries and a few just plain mean doings but it all comes together in the end. The narration was very good, some parts keep you on the edge of your seat. I enjoyed it.
