Publisher's Summary

Black, the second audiobook in The Silver Series, is about a werewolf raised through the atrocities of a werewolf fighting ring. He is rescued and given the chance at a new life, but haunting reminders of his past follow him as he tries to make a fresh start. He has to confront his dark history in order to protect the girl he loves, or let himself be swept away into the pain and humiliation of the arena once more.

The second audiobook of a fresh new werewolf series, Black is fast paced, dark, and shows that love is something worth fighting for.

narrator not good

Would you try another book from Cheree Lynn Alsop and/or Owen C. Kennedy?

yes just with a different narrator

How did the narrator detract from the book?

he is very monotonous in the reading of this book

Do you think Black needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes, I would love to have a follow up because I want to know what Jet does now that he's free.

Any additional comments?

The book had a great plot just let someone else narrate maybe Holter Graham

Being Rescued!

I'm now on my way to listening to book #6 Hunter and I really LOVE this series! I can't believe I forgot to write my review for this story. This is our introduction to Jet Black. Jaze finds him in a werewolf ring where you have to fight to the death. What we know already is that Jaze is a good person/werewolf and he rescues Jet from that life and world. I enjoy Cheree Alsop's writing style, it's dark, fast paced, lots of action, and the discovery of finding friends and love woven into a perfect story. You really can't stop listening to it, you find yourself absorbed in this story and it keeps you immersed from start to finish.

Owen C. Kennedy did a great job with narrating this story. Cheree shows us a young 16 year old that was stripped from his home at a young age and forced to fight and kill just to survive. Owen brings every emotion out from each character. You can feel the sadness, the anger, and even relief that Jet feels when he finally feels safe, surrounded by something he's never had before, friends, and his emotions for Taye. Owen pulled me into this story and I fell in love with this series from this book. I really enjoyed the first one but after this one, well I knew it would be an amazing series and it has been. I was please with the performance that Owen gave. Overall, a perfect 5 star rating!
