Publisher's summary

Life was good, God was blessing and the Marshall family was riding high, until Carmella Marshall's husband, Nelson asks for a divorce and then moves in with his girlfriend - who also happens to be her twenty-three-year-old daughter's best friend. Her son gets arrested, her daughter drops out of college, the bills go unpaid, and then Carmella has a nervous breakdown.

The Marshalls have ups and downs like any other family. However, Carmella always thought that God would see them through anything. But when Nelson left and her life fell apart, she realized just how weak she could become, without the strength of God guiding her way. Through prayer, praise, and a love that bonds families together, Carmella renews her trust in the Lord and discovers a way to turn her life around.

In Tears Fall at Night, the Marshalls discover that even when everything goes wrong, they can still lift their hands and praise God anyhow.

her faith brings her through

not enough narrative, or detailing to keep me coming back for the what's next factor.

Loved it and it holds your attention all the way to the finish. Hoping that the additional series are the continuation of this book.

More than excellent

Would you consider the audio edition of Tears Fall at Night to be better than the print version?

While there is nothing like the written word it is wonderful to listen to books while you're on long car trips, this book was well narrated and worth the listen making my car ride more pleasurable I hated getting out the car at the end of the trip.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tears Fall at Night?

The most memorable point of the book was her being able to get her life back and realizing that there is a rainbow at the end of every storm. God has this whole thing all under control and all things work together for good to those who love the Lord, it was wonderful to see that.

Which character – as performed by Lisagaye Tomlinson – was your favorite?

all the character were performed equally as good as the others

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The best moment in the book for me was the fight and front of the husband's new house. I laughed out loud

Any additional comments?

What an unexpected twist!

Who was your favorite character and why?

The mother, because even though she was hurt, she still found forgiveness.

Have you listened to any of Lisagaye Tomlinson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes I did cry when husband left wife and she prayed that God would help her with her situation. All was rooting for wife when she and mistress had a fight on the lawn.

Interesting

The beginning was very good. Then towards the middle to the end became boring. I usually re listen to my books if they are good.. but I will not re listen to this book again. You know majority of divorces don't end happily ever after. I wish the end would have went in another direction.
