Another Chance at Normal Life?

Tamara French has just been released from "Juvie" after 3 years. Is it possible for her to live a normal life? Will her past keep her from a decent future?

The author does a very good job with her descriptions and character development. There is a lot of tension in the story and some very thought-provoking moments. As a young teenager, Tamara doesn't always make the right decisions, but she hasn't really had the kind of life that makes it easy to do so.

This is not a book for the faint at heart or anyone who is easily bothered by hints of violence. There are some violent scenes, but nothing too graphic. The ending is not a HEA one, but there are future books in the series, so it is possible that things might work out after all. I would like to know more about Tamara's past and how she ended up like she did. Also, I would like to know more about some of the side characters, such as the other foster kids in the Henson's care.

The narrator was perfect for the book and added a lot to my listening pleasure. I was given a audiobook version of this book by the author/narrator/publisher and chose to review it.
