Sad and Sweet
This is one of the shortest ZG stories and one of the saddest. I suppose if you're not an animal lover you may think it daft. But it's a favorite for me.

Sweet Little Story About a Man and His Burro
Sweet little story about a wandering prospector and his fine and faithful burro, Jenet. Some adventure, a little romance, twists in plot, and an inevitable ending. Highly recommended.
