Watered down MC romance

What did you love best about Taming Blaze?

I like the love story of Blaze and Dani ... but the MC is almost posed as an afterthought. The ruthlessness of her father the master mind criminal was not convincing either.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Blaze because he is a hot character and male. I do think the book made him appear weak in many instances though.

Did Arika Rapson and Nelson Hobbs do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Arika Rapson is a good narrator, but I did not think she was convincing in this instance. Her voice is almost too light to really come across dangerous. Nelson is also a great narrator but he contributed to the perception, in my opinion, that Blaze was not as strong as he should of been in this story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No.... it was a good listen. I enjoyed it despite the watered down version of a criminal empire and a hostile MC .... perhaps the written word made them more believable as dangerous.

Any additional comments?

This is worth a credit or sale. I would not pay the asking price. This book. like so many others popping up lately are not truly MC books. It lacks the grittiness to make it believable.

Male narrator is the best part

The story was ok but a lot of the female lead's portion of the story are juvenile and the female narrators voice is terrible. She sounded like she was nervous and a smoker. Her wobbly scratchy voice was so distracting my annoying. Ugh. She ruined the book for me I don't think I can stand to listen to her any more. Traditionally I don't much care for male narrators doing female voices but this male narrator was so good in both male and female roles I wished he had done the entire book solo

Horrible

Absolutely the worst MC book I have ever read. Watered down version of an MC book. There is not one good thing I can say here. Sorry. If these books did not cost so much, I would have stopped listening after the first 30 minutes.

This great listen will not be tamed

Loved this M/C book 1 from Sabrina Paige. . Love how Sabrina wrote a story with lots of twists and revenge and mystery. Sabrina took this story and made you want to listen to it from Beginning to end . Both Narrators are fantastic. Ever since I heard this one with Nelson Hobbs he became one of my favourites.

Hero is Blaze. Heroine is Dani .
Dani had an incident with her then boyfriend . He did some things to her that she couldn’t stomach. She hits the road . Her car runs out of gas . That is where she meets Blaze . Blaze saves her with the gas . Dani rents a room at an expensive hotel. Dani is hoping Blaze takes her up on her offer to come join her

Dani goes to her fathers house. Dani then learns that her mother’s killer is being released and he might go after her .

Her father hires an M/C club for protection. Little does she know that Blaze is part of the club .... not only that but he is assigned to protect her .
Love how the killer is not who you think. The president of the M/C is a shady character .

Loved both Narrator. Love them both but Nelson Hobbs has become one of my favourites

Better Then I Thought

While a romance and it does heavily stay on the romance side, I love for the last 2 hrs that you get a better feel for the club, more info, and see how things turned out after the big finally.

Returned for refund.

I gave this book a good try. I'm about halfway through & I just can't do it anymore. I can't stand the female narrator's voice choices. She's also mispronounced a couple of words. While we're all guilty of this, part of preparing for a professional voice acting/narration gig is reading through the work & marking any words you don't know & looking up pronunciation. Add that to the poor plot in the book itself - similar actions by Blaze cause wildly different reactions from Dani at different points in the book, and stupid things like the MC agreeing to kill someone without even knowing who he is - and I can't even finish it.

Pretty good

It was good - not great. Don't know why but I feel it just kind of told a story. It had some tense moments but nothing that really got me. Kind of predictable. It did have some HOT scenes!!!

Good

The story was good but I have really gotten spoiled listening to books read with the dual narration that has the women reading all the women parts. And the man reading all the man parts. I do not enjoy a man trying to sound like a woman and a woman trying to sound like a man. Might have to start reading again instead of listening;.

Wow

I have read several MC type series and really got into this storyline... The characters took me on a good journey and the sex scenes were HOT! Loves the dual narration! On to the next book in the series
