Publisher's summary

A Vogue headline announced "They'll take Manhattan," and we were naive enough to believe it. The New York Post couldn't get enough of us. We were young and hip and life was good. Little did we know what was in store for our little comedy troupe Chucklehead, which took New York by storm in the 1980s. It was a wild, hilarious, and sometimes scary ride we would never forget. Here are our stories.

Tale of a comedy group that was once hot

Sent your way back machine for a short hop back to the mid-80s to early 90s. What you have here is the tail the formation of the chuckleheads the comedy group nothing music group. It's an interesting tale of relationships chance encounters Life choices and what it takes to get a comedy group together keep it going in the heart of New York City. You may wonder why gave this four stars not five let me explain why. As a comedy troupe I expected a little more from the narration. I also would've liked either some excerpts from some of the shows or some links or instructions on how to find some of the shows so I could see what it was. This is not a comedy group that I've ever seen attended or heard of before the show sounded interesting, Unfortunately I've had a difficult time even searching them out on the web as I attempted to find some of the shows just to kind of get an idea and visualize what I was listening to. Other than that it was an enjoyable listen and I have a very interesting group and how things worked out for them. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

Tales of the troupe

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tales of the Troupe?

It is collection of stories that will take you on a rollercoaster ride from the wacky to the complex. This book takes us back to New York in the 80s, to the place where the collaborative dreams and creative minds of a group of highly-energized young folks whipped up a remarkably endearing Comedy Troupe
