Grounded largely in the first-person and present tense, Sherman offers a portal into his experience, which resonates with personal and transpersonal significance. While short and written in a readily digestible way, the therapeutic and spiritual insights are perhaps best absorbed with multiple listens to the same passage, or taking the time to sit with a section before rushing ahead.
