My Nephew said he would rather have the comic book

My Nephew said he would rather have the comic books. The narrator was great in my opinion , my nephew, did not like him. My nephew stated it reads like a comic, with the popup bubbles of the Story teller, but he wanted the pictures of comics make it the best! The stories are cute and give backstory to the ride. I Found it funny at times , but the Jokes got old quick. I give Disney 4 stars for the effort but the Audience level did not bite. I wanted to get him into audible but was not wanting to buy as subscription. Glad I did it this way.

Haunting Goosebumps

I am one who loves the horror and the tales of beyond. I am also one who loves the haunted mansion, which makes these books such a deadly delightful read or listening one would say. I hope these story never end, even when they reach all the way to 999 because just like them I could always have room for one more.

Delightful and Spooky

I can say after listening to all four books (or both collections as they are paired on here) that this series is just the right amount of spooky and fun for readers 12 and under. But I enjoyed them immensely as well, and I am 23! The stories are par for the course of good children's horror, think Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark, with the added benefit of the wrap-around pieces taking place at the wonderful Haunted Mansion! Thus, there are plenty of allusions throughout to the much-loved ride and world therein. The narrator is wonderful, and he really does his best with the creepy voices and the audience winks, nods, and call-outs. It's honestly a lot of fun. And what makes it even better is the overall timing of the second set! Listening to the whole thing again in the Halloween season really got me into the spirit! Happy haunting (and reading/listening)!~

Fantastic Read

A fantastic ending to the series! I have loved each book and this did not disappoint. The stories were captivating and quick-paced. Even though this is written as a children's book, Haunted Mansion fans of all ages will love it. If you're taking your child who's 7+ (give or take on the age) to Disneyland/Disney World/etc., pick up a copy of this series and have your child listen to it. It will make the magical trip even more magical with all the small details from the rides placed in the books.
