Publisher's summary

Rory and Cooper haven't forgotten Laura. She is the one for them, the one who became theirs one starry night before shipping off to boot camp. They didn't expect seven years to pass before they saw her again. She's changed, has secrets. But they don't care. They'll do everything they can to make her theirs. Because in Bridgewater, one cowboy is never enough.

Another good one

Rating: 4/5
Heat Rating: 4/5
Narrator Performance: 4/5

This novella was a light and sexy listen. Though there was some serious subject matter Vale didn't dwell on it. She didn't gloss over it either. Instead the issue was mentioned and then little things were set up later in the storyline to help get things on the right path. Things don't work out that easily IRL but it's a story so of course it's not 💯% realistic.

There's a kid in this so people that don't like children in their romance reads be forewarned. I know some people don't like that. She's important to the story although she's not present in a lot of the scenes. She was a cutie with her pink cowboy boots.

The narration was enjoyable. I found it easy to slip into the story. The narrator's voice was pleasant and I liked her pace. She used 3 different voices - male, female, little girl - but I would have appreciated more of a definition between the guys voices. Her little girl voice was very good and I loved the enthusiasm that was present it her performance when she did the kid's lines.

Sweets

That One word that keeps being said over and over and over was enough for me to go from five stars one star on the story. Please find hey less male chauvinistic way of referring to her other than “sweet “OMG I could strangle the writer for that. Every time I heard it it was like nails down a chalkboard!

Excellent

An excellent story well developed considering the shortness of the story. Which is my only complaint

Such a sweet yet very hot erotic romance

This tale is how a military man overcomes his tragedy in war and how a young girl is left behind with life altering things to deal with. The love of all three for each other heal their issues. Such a great story that is hot as heck. Great narration by Ms Stewart. Don’t miss this series.

Rory and Cooper bring Ivy home

Rory and Cooper return home to Bridgewater, MT, the town of polyamorous relationships, after their military discharge, and know they have to find Ivy Walters to build their new life. Their one night with Ivy before leaving for boot camp had surprising results that bring purpose and meaning to their new life.
A good choice for a very sexy, lightweight time-out; but still has loving relationships and a HEA.
Stewart does a creditable job with the narration.
I enjoyed listening to this book as a Romance Membership selection.

Perfomance good - story lacking

Rory and Cooper left to find more and got more than either imagined. They came home to find their glue but she was gone. Ivy had one perfect night to send her off to college. She gained and she lost much that day. She had not been in Bridgewater for years. She stays away to give a new life a chance. She worked hard for seven years to forget the past but each day it was getting harder to do.

I had issues with Rory and Cooper. I foudn it hard to contemplait that these to smart men would overlook the obvious when it came to locating Ivy. I questioned their true desire to find her. Once connected I questioned a few other things.

Narration was the saving grace here.

Recommended 18+

Like the others in this series, it is hot, hot, hot. Just a reminder, it stands on its own. I liked the storyline and especially Conner with his PTSD. It is a problem that too often is overlooked or ignored yet shows up in a variety of ways. I loved Lily.

Good change in the storyline

I liked the change of pace for this book. Instead of a woman who doesn't know about Bridgewater, Ivy grew up there and is open to the lifestyle, she just didn't think her men wanted her. Cooper and Rory love Ivy, but they left for the military and lost touch with her. Now after seven years, they've tracked her down and are going to get their woman, but there's a wrench in their plan in the form of six year old Lily. This was a cute story and I really felt bad for Cooper and what he went through in the military. They all made an adorable family and there were some spicy romance scenes too!

Great series!

I have read all of the Bridgewater stories, from the beginning to modern day. Good stories, even though different!
