Tails of the Secret Peacock is an allegory set in 1850’s England that explores the question, “What would happen if the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit came to life”? Sagesse, the lead character, is the gift of Wisdom. In this first novel, she meets three other gifts: Reverence, who is a mysterious nun from India, Strength, who is a fiery warrior from Germany, and Awe of the Lord, who is a mysterious being she meets in a secret cave behind a waterfall.
