WCHL Commissioner Chris Perry, trusty sidekick Andrew Magerkurth and special WCHL guests discuss the Western Collegiate Hockey League (ACHA Men's Division 1) and a lot of other non-hockey related topics on this incredibly mediocre podcast. While we try to focus on the WCHL, which is comprised of collegiate hockey teams from Arizona, Arizona State, Central Oklahoma, Colorado, Colorado State, Grand Canyon, Missouri State, Nevada-Las Vegas, Oklahoma & Utah, we admit we get distracted and talk music, food, stories from the road, and whatever else pops into the limited minds of two guys that are definitely "not hockey guys".All rights reserved

It's been a minute since our last podcast so Chris and Andrew have a lot to discuss - they get started with the WCHL scores from the past few weeks including sweeps in Oklahoma and Colorado, a Cactus Cup winner, and a Camelback Cup winner! The final conference standings are in, there's a smidge of WCHL news for next season, and then it's all about Nationals (FIVE WCHL teams are in the field of 24!), autobids, bumps, juicy first round matchups, and some likely Final Four teams! After that, the guys talk harvesting black willow trees, Albert Lea, windchill, stuck trucks, Honey Vanilla, and OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALS for the USA Men AND Women! An overstuffed edition of your favorite craptastic podcast is just a click away! Enjoy!

Drury Assistant Coach Cliff Cook takes a break from one of his many podcast platforms to slum around with the Commish on this episode of The WCHL Podcast, as Andrew is grounded this week and had his phone taken away! Chris and Cliff put the most recent ranking under the most powerful of microscopes and provide keen insights you'll only find here. The guys then move on to pretend Nationals matchups, game results and game predictions before things really veer into the realm of the craptastic with talk of Olympics, Runza, gameday roster limitations, Blake's Lotaburger, the return of the M1 Nationals Selection Show, scheduling concepts, beer and beef jerky sponsorships, and much more! Cliff is so good at this and brings a touch of maturity and class to the pod, so have a listen and savor the brilliance!

Only three more weeks to go until the end of the ACHA M1 regular season and the rankings are coming into focus more and more! Chris & Andrew kick this suboptimal edition of the pod into gear with the latest rankings and some proof of concept discussion when it comes to scheduling theories. A peek at what Nationals would look like as of today, some advice for teams in two certain brackets, and autobid prognostications are also on tap before the guys get into the upcoming games involving WCHL teams, the Naked Gun, conversation hearts, hotels in the boonies, cheesesticks, Lake Placid, and an appreciation for all the places and all the people that this beautiful game has brought into our lives, even though we're not hockey people! Have a listen, won't you?
