Superdeterminism is a physics theory gaining more and more acceptance that says that every event in the universe is predetermined based on the initial correlations established by the Big Bang. Superdeterminism implies that strictly deterministic laws of physics underlie even quantum mechanics. The consequences of superdeterminism on science, philosophy and theology cannot be overstated, because superdeterminism brings us back to a more traditional clockwork view of the universe before the indeterminate quantum revolution of the last century. Superdeterminism is great news for the theist.
The book contains a varied discussion of the implications of superdeterministic design (SD), which are exciting and profound. Not only is SD the best new teleological argument for the existence of God, SD can also be grafted onto Intelligent Design (ID) arguments giving ID a solid foundation in science. SD also has extremely interesting implications on the origins of life and original sin. Lastly, one of the most interesting implications of SD is the reality that our laws of physics combined with the initial correlations established at the Big Bang must evolve the universe in the direction of a predetermined future. There is an almost magical quality to this SD Force guided by SD information with fascinating implications for human beings.
