Such a powerful story about overcoming adversity. From the struggles of growing up with financial and social challenges. Family trauma, being bullied and environmental challenges. Anthony Owens tells his story of how choosing one can beat the odds. No matter where you start in life as long as you choose to never give up. Developing courage in the face of danger and holding oneself to a high moral standard. Anthony became a shining example of becoming a positive male role model. Through vulnerability and accountability he' has quickly become a role model for men in the melanated community. This is a great book to read and a beacon of hope for men in the generations to come. I highly recommend this book and give it two thumbs up.
