Sweet and Clean Romance
This was a sweet story of disappointment turned into love. Sybil is overwhelmed when the man she is supposed to marry is nowhere to be found. Brian is devastated by the injury that has left him with a limp and disillusioned by his past experience with his bride's disappearance just before their wedding. But God has plans they don't know about in the beginning of the story. I enjoyed seeing the romance blossom. I would have liked a little more information about who the man was who left Sybil in the lurch and why he had done such a thing.
So pleased that this author always keeps her books sweet and clean!
This was a good book to listen to. The narration by Ms. Weaver was great. I always enjoy her talent!

Be Mine
What a cute story, that starts out for Sybil, as a disappointment, but turns into love. The narrator kept me interested in the story. I enjoy listening to Colleen Weaver. Sybil leaves Boston to become a mail order bride in Arkansas, to a doctor. When she arrives, there is no one there to meet her. What will happen to her. She doesn't have enough money to eat or get a room at the hotel. She is befriended by another lady from Boston. When she goes to her farm, she meets Brian. Brian, is mad at the world and takes it out on everyone, but slowly he comes around after meeting Sybil. Delightful!

I listened to this one on audio. This was a nice short book. I thought it could be longer, but still thought it was great. I liked the characters and look forward to seeing them in more of the series.
