Publisher's summary

Willow has had a hard time trusting people, especially men, ever since her reckless father abandoned her at a young age for the romantic façade of life on the open road. After finally graduating from college, she's now enjoying her new job and carefree life on the beach. When an injured stranger shows up on her doorstep looking for her deceased dad, she is instantly thrust back into the dark past she's been trying to escape her whole life.

Cocky Caleb has never really had it easy, but lately, things have taken an extreme turn for the worse. Seriously injured and on the run from outlaw bikers hell bent on controlling him, he seeks shelter with the only person who could possibly save him once and for all... if he can keep his smart-ass mouth shut.

Good ending to the series!

Overall opinion: 3.75 Stars

Trust takes a while to build in this unconventional romance. A bad guy by all indicators works towards improving himself thanks to the love and support of another bad guy. He meets his daughter under perilous circumstances and the story is off and running. I really liked that the H liked honest communications. The end was a bit stretched out which took a small bit away for me.

Loved this story

Wow - so much happened in this story! Willow was everything I had hoped she would be: strong, smart, and determined. Despite his questionable background, Caleb was a great match for Willow. It took some time for them to trust each other and for his whole back story to get sorted out. Once it did, they made a really good team. I loved seeing Wendy & Cole and the rest of the Graysons. The insights into Willow's mom was a welcome back story that we didn't get until now. Loved the nail-biting that happens near the end which made the ending even more sweet. This is a great addition to the series!

The narrator really brought these characters to life.
