Publisher's Summary

A sweet Christian romance to warm your heart.

Aurora Savage wants - no, needs - a better life. She has goals, ambitions, dreams, and nothing is going to stop her from reaching them, not even her own shortcomings.

Right now, everything is lackluster - her boyfriend of six months, her stalled makeup career, her Hollywood ambitions, and dreams. Maybe, she should become a makeup artist to the stars. Maybe, she should focus on perfect brows or lash extensions.

She doesn’t know exactly how, but she is determined to be somebody, to make a difference, to make her mark. When she meets Kade Whetherby, she is grateful for someone new and interesting to talk to, to share her frustrations with, to laugh with.

Impressed by his intellect and charmed by that twinkle in his eye, not to mention flattered by his interest, Aurora decides she can certainly overlook the fact that he is rather impulsive. Besides, he says the absolute sweetest things. That, and she's never laughed so much with a guy before.

But when she finally discovers the secret Kade has been hiding, anger-prone Aurora reaches her breaking point. When trust and loyalty are shaken, can Aurora swallow her pride and learn the healing power of forgiveness?

A sweet contemporary Christian romance with a guaranteed happily ever after. By Christian romance author Nikki Larson. Glorifying God by weaving biblical truth into realistic fiction. To contact the author by email: authornikkilarson@gmail.com.

Sweet continuation of a series

Nikki has written a believable story about two sisters, their lives, their relationship, and their everyday hardships. This book focuses on the second sister and her feelings of frustration and anger in various situations. As the story evolves it also shows forgiveness and acceptance.

Wonderful message

Sweet Surrender is a Christian romance with a wonderfully positive message. I love how the main characters grow and change their ways as they become more focused on God. Grandma is my favorite character of these books. Her Christ-like influence and spunky zest for life is inspiring. I kind of felt like I was left hanging a bit regarding Kade’s relationship with his mom and stepdad and how the girls honor the wishes of someone(trying not to spoil anything). The storyline was interesting and I felt engaged as I listened. The narrator didn’t seem to fit the California themed book.

Great Message

I loved the message of this story. It was one about pulling closer to God and trying to see your faults clearly, so that you can grow to be more like Christ. This was beautiful.
I know that this story was about the growth of the two main characters, Aurora and Kade, but they took their faults to the extreme. So, their story was, well... not the best.
I loved the sister Chloe, a lot. I haven’t read the first book, yet; but I think that I would really enjoy her story. She is so positive and seems both spunky and yet sweet. She and Travis were a great couple. The portions of the book that focus on them are my favorite!

Unfortunately, the narrator pronounced several words incorrectly. There were other reasons for my rating, as well.

Such a sweet story

I couldn’t help but associate myself with each of the characters. They each had some struggles and ups and downs that I could relate to. I was such a sweet and lovely testimony of serving others and of God. I couldn’t help but smile at the funny moments and be moved to sadness during the loss.
