Great Message

I loved the message of this story. It was one about pulling closer to God and trying to see your faults clearly, so that you can grow to be more like Christ. This was beautiful.
I know that this story was about the growth of the two main characters, Aurora and Kade, but they took their faults to the extreme. So, their story was, well... not the best.
I loved the sister Chloe, a lot. I haven’t read the first book, yet; but I think that I would really enjoy her story. She is so positive and seems both spunky and yet sweet. She and Travis were a great couple. The portions of the book that focus on them are my favorite!

Unfortunately, the narrator pronounced several words incorrectly. There were other reasons for my rating, as well.

Good story

This was a sweet, clean romance. Nikki Larsen has created a story that will pull at your heartstrings and make you fall in love with her characters. Rhonda Kravhmer does a fantastic job narrating and bringing the characters to life.

Wonderful message

Sweet Surrender is a Christian romance with a wonderfully positive message. I love how the main characters grow and change their ways as they become more focused on God. Grandma is my favorite character of these books. Her Christ-like influence and spunky zest for life is inspiring. I kind of felt like I was left hanging a bit regarding Kade’s relationship with his mom and stepdad and how the girls honor the wishes of someone(trying not to spoil anything). The storyline was interesting and I felt engaged as I listened. The narrator didn’t seem to fit the California themed book.

I really enjoyed this heartfelt story. The characters were well written and engaging. The narrator added to an already great story.

Such a sweet story

I couldn’t help but associate myself with each of the characters. They each had some struggles and ups and downs that I could relate to. I was such a sweet and lovely testimony of serving others and of God. I couldn’t help but smile at the funny moments and be moved to sadness during the loss.

Sweet continuation of a series

Nikki has written a believable story about two sisters, their lives, their relationship, and their everyday hardships. This book focuses on the second sister and her feelings of frustration and anger in various situations. As the story evolves it also shows forgiveness and acceptance.
