Fun Read-Annoying Heroine

Great narration, strong, sensual hero, but the heroine was careless too many times and I stopped identifying with her. Having to be rescued once or twice is fine, but using this to advance the plot made the heroine out to be an idiot.

Loved the narrator

I've had this book for years and read, and reread it quite often. My eyesight has caused problems with reading for any length of time so I am grateful it is now in audio.
If you like a great Scottish historical with humor & suspense you can't miss Ms. Sands books.

Great book and excellent narrator. I tend to like books like the Outlander and this was right up that alley.

Overall a must read

It was an excellent book overall, but the capture and escape/rescue routines became a little boring. There were just too many for my liking. Like really you were captured AGAIN??

I really enjoyed the narrator and Lynsay Sands' story. There were several lol moments. Definitely a good listen!
