Love, family and history… what’s not to love!
What a beautifully written book about love, family and history. Emotional and intriguing. Every character brings another journey to the history of a loving family. So well written!!

Another gentle mystery without a lot of ridiculous family secrets
I usually avoid any book thank hangs on “family secrets” because they usually are so ridiculous and dumb characters do stupid things to hide them. The characters in this book are very well drawn, intelligent, and caring. Each sister has strengths and weaknesses which they use to their joint advantage. The narration is superb.

Liked the emphasis on family.
This was a nice book. The story dragged a little, while the main character works through some things. I do think the narrator makes a mistake with her voice for the female characters. she makes them sound aged, and they are younger than that.
