Publisher's summary

Dina DeMille isn't your typical bed and breakfast owner. Her inn defies laws of physics, her dog is secretly a monster, and the only permanent guest of the inn is a former galactic tyrant with a price on her head. The inn needs guests to thrive and guests have been scarce, so when an arbitrator shows up at Dina's door and asks her to host a peace summit between three warring species, she jumps on the chance. Unfortunately, for Dina, bridging the gap between space vampires, the Hope-Crushing Horde, and the merchants of Baha-char is much easier said than done. To make the summit a success, she must find a chef, remodel the inn, keep her guests from murdering each other, and risk everything, even her life, to save the man she might fall in love with. But then it's all in the day's work for an innkeeper....

Will want to read again

Although I loved this story, I will need to read it again. There were so many characters/clans that I got confused as to who was whom. Still, this series is just as good as the Kate Daniels series. Ilona Andrews is/are a complex writer(s). That doesn't mean that their stories are difficult to read. It is just that they have quality and substance that you don't always find in paranormal books. They are not superficial writers. Their stories require you to think, which is great. Your mind is a bad things to loose. You need to stimulate it and that is what they do. Only, I find that I need my full attention on their stories. The narrator, Renee Raudman, does an excellent job of giving us the characters that the authors have created. I was at least glad that Sean (from the previous book) and Dina did have an appearance together, although a very small part of the book. Trying to figure out how Dina was going to get out of her bad situation, was very stimulating to my creativity, but the author(s) did a great job of wrapping it up to my satisfaction.

Perfect Blend

I read all of the Edger series, and loved them. the only thing wrong with them was that there were not enough.

I read the first Innkeeper book when it was being posted on the Ilona Andrews page. It was fun, it was campy. The heroine was genuine, girl-next-door wholesome, with just enough snarkiness to make her fun.

Sweep in Peace brings George and Jack to meet Dina the Innkeeper. They even bring along Lark. With a world to save and several intertwined mysteries, this was the perfect blend.

Renee Raudman's Texan accent lends the perfect touch to a story set in Texas.

Hope there will be more soon.

Got George and Jack

Best part was to see George and Jack wish more of them in the future

Love the evolution of this series

One thing about these writers. The stories evolve. They are well thought out and so interesting to listen to. The narrator is so calm that when it comes to the time that she must put the emotions out there, it just works. Loved it, sitting quietly, waiting for the next one, lol.

love this series

I love this series. I especially love that characters from some of the author's other series make appearances.

Fantastic 2nd book

Loved this edition to the Inn Keepers Chronicles. I laughed and yes I cried. This writing team continues to create some of the most vivid pictures in my mind with their narration. I am now highly invested in this highly addictive series.

What is an Inn Keeper to do when presented with a scenario that could boost her bank account and health of her Inn? Well if it means housing the Hoard, the Holy Innocracy and the Merchants... she will say no and run for the hills.... or will she?

Wow absolutely loved it

I love Ilona Andrews and when her Atlanta books came to an end and everything was finished I was a little disappointed. Yea in one of those who think the authors do not write fast enough. LOL thinking oh no no more from her. However in this new series she manages to tie in characters from the other series into these which ties the books together. It a fantastic listen.
