Publisher's summary

In the final book of the My Blood Approves series....

Alice has moved on and is settling into a new country with a new career as a vampire hunter. Finally, she's created a stable, happy life for herself and her family, including her boyfriend Jack. Or at least as stable as her life can be, especially with a dangerous vampire cult resurfacing. But everything she's worked for is put in jeopardy when she receives a disturbing message - one that sends her on a quest that delves into a tragic mystery that has haunted Peter for years.

a long awaited ending.

I waited a long time for this one to come out. I was kinda disappointed with it and at the same time not. part of me wished that Jack found his mate and then Peter and Alice got together in the end

unsatisfied

I love this series but after waiting literally years for this final book to come out, and it ends the way that it does they left me very unsatisfied I'm very unhappy with the ending.

Tearful

What an amazing ending to this epic series. I loved it so much and cried during a lot of it. I definitely did not see that ending coming. This series is a definite must read. Loved it!

Love

It is so good to be able to read a true love story about people that are meant to be together. I have loved Jack from the beginning of this story and I was hoping he was the man that Alice would pick. He is the man I would have chosen for my self. True love is so hard to find and we all have so many people that we think is the “One”. This story make me hold on to the belief that maybe my other half is still out there. Thank you Amanda for reminding us that true love still exist, even if only in the mind of great story tellers mind. I will continue to read everything that you write. Mary Bennett

Waited a long time for this story...

I have a lot of really mixed feelings about this book. I read all the others in the series many years ago and felt cheated at how Wisdom ended because so much was left hanging. When I saw this book had finally been written and added to audible to complete the series, I was really excited. I think the story overall was good and I liked the fact that we finally got to understand Peter a little better in this book. I'm not going to give anything away except to say I liked how Peter and Alice's relationship evolved as well as how Jack matured in this final book. Bobby was a stronger character in this book which was also nice. My favorite aspect of the book was getting a glimpse of what Elise was like and finally finding out what really became of her and why Peter was so heartbroken for over a century.

I will say that I understand the ending, but, it doesn't mean I liked it. The ending is where my mixed feelings come to play. I guess I'm sappy and just wanted a better HEA but get that would have been extremely difficult to come by considering the characters personalities within the story. I appreciate that everyone got some kind of closing and a chance to say what they needed too before the end. I'm just mad that it made me cry - I told you I was a sap... Peter was my favorite character and deep down, I was on team Alice and Peter. I do realize Jack was the right choice, however. *sigh*

All in all, I love A.H. writing style. I am glad the narrator finally picked up the pace to a normal speed from the other four books. I had to listen to the previous books in a higher speed to get through them and that was tedious and disappointing because I loved the stories so much.

If your looking to finally end this series, buy this book. It's worth it just to find out what happened to Elise, Peter, Jack, Bobby and Milo.
