I Love This Series!!!
This is fun and entertaining series. Fourtune, Ida Belle and Gertie are a delight. I love how they interact with each other, and, how they trust each other in dangerous situations. They keep getting into comically horrible situations and manage to get out of it by the skin of their teeth. I can't wait to see what happens to them next. As always, Cassandra Campbell is great.

I love every single character! But seriously, if Gerty is going to continue throwing a kink in all of their adventures, LEAVE HER AT HOME!

Keeps you guessing...
Would you consider the audio edition of Swamp Sniper to be better than the print version?
These mysteries keep you guessing. Not predictable for me and enjoy the quirky people and the authors humor. A CIA spook hiding in Sinful, LA hooking up with 2 senior ladies and having a series of unrelated murders since she's arrived. Then they somehow (it's often a down right miracle) actually solve these murders. Yes, at times it may be far fetched but the humor and quirky people make up for it. There's more twists and turns in this book than in any backwater of the bayou and of course, "you never know when someone's gonna start shooting at you" ..... Don't expect any hi tech forensic drama in this series, it's just a fun adventurous ride thru Sinful, LA. Just hold on and enjoy!

Still totally funny!!
The characters are hilarious. The interplay between then works so well together. I enjoy the speed or not speed of the love romance that is developing. Yes, Fortune has been in town only two weeks. The two weeks is over 3 books. That makes it a tad bit longer before Fortune and Carter are getting lost in each other's eyes. I am hooked on the series.

Fun in sinful
This book made me laugh so much. I had a blast getting to see what the people of sinful were up to again. Ida is running for an election and the person she is running against is found murdered with Ida’s moonshine in the cough syrup bottles. Now Fortune has to work to clear one of her only friends of a murder she didn’t commit. And fortune has to keep her cover as she tries to uncover he real killer. Rhonda are heating up between fortune and the lovely officer. I laughed so much at the insanity these women get up to. I can’t wait for the next one! This is a fun cozy mystery that will make you smile and laugh a lot.
