Interesting short little book!

it’s really a super duper quick short book.
Practical advice for you and your children on how to keep and invest money, some little gold nuggets here and there, it takes a while to sink in, interesting book for a short read. Recommend to read more other books from this author.

Quick primer for the financially "challenged"

This is a quick primer listing several money concepts that are universal, from saving to learning money management for the long run. The author discusses how finances can lead to marital discord, and the steps needed to forestall misunderstandings. From a society that is raised to not understand how money functions, adults find themselves at a gross disadvantage in dealing with life. A great little primer!

Fantastic.!!!!

It is the best book I have found that covers financial planning from a strategic point of view. Most books have strong biases toward specific strategies. This book is much broader. It covers a broad range of financial topics that affect everyone of us. And it most cases, it explains alternative strategies and philosophies that are commonly taken by different advisors. It has helped me to develop a complete financial plan.

Quick summary and good suggestion.

This is a very well-written and practical book, as I hope to describe. If you have a particularly complex financial situation, this book isn't going to solve all your problems. Indeed, it won't tell you everything you could possibly know about a number of financial topics. However, it will help a large majority of the public. A key attribute of the book is that it breaks down the financial planning process into manageable, doable steps. You can make a list of the steps relevant to your situation, check them off one at a time, and move on.

Great resource.

This book is clearly and concisely written and covers most of the basics of personal finance, topics that take up most of its chapters. But it even has a section on leaving a personal document for loved ones as well as a will. Probably the best section is the section about investments and portfolio, but nice to affirm that non-money matters are central to our decisions. Highly professional money advice, but simply explained.

Good summary.

This book is helpful and informative. This book offered a inside view of how to increase, maintain and manage your finances. What I liked most about the book is that the point of view if coming from a woman to a woman. Love It. The author did a extraordinary job at breaking the information down and explaining step by step of how to do what is required to meet your goal. However, I would like to see a educational finance book published for women who are living in poverty with strategies on how to manage subsidized incomes and poor women's wages in an effort to rise out of poverty.
