Publisher's summary

Two down...one to go.

Chase and Angel have two of the three artifacts they need to access the ancient alien Archive—humanity’s only hope of defeating the Sunkillers.

But getting that third one is going to be near impossible.

Because their nemesis, the power-hungry Hart-Klein Consolidated, already has the third key to the Archive...and they won’t be giving it up without a fight.

Who can Chase and the rest of the crew of the Tamar turn to for help when their own government thinks they’re outlaws and they have a price on their heads?

The last person they ever thought they would ask...and if she doesn’t help, humanity won't have much of a future.

Experience the third entry in the Sunkiller series from Dragon Award nominees JN Chaney and Rick Partlow. If you're a fan of gritty military science fiction, epic quests, and ancient civilizations, then you'll love Sunkiller: Odyssey.

S Kaye

Thoroughly enjoy this series so far. I’m never crazy about bad language, but really like the story!
Great job Luke D!

brilliant!

I'm so picky about narrators, Mark Boyette is among my top 5 voice performers and he makes what is good writing in these books just excellent entertainment! he's always excellent and his talent for differentiating characters and expressing each one's unique personalities with accents and pacing, etc. shines here. I really enjoyed the story he brought to life-- relatable and likable characters (and hateable baddies, of course) who underwent reasonable character development. I'm partial to military scifi and you'll find that ethos and martial expertise among retired badas*es who employ their skills as PMCs. anyway, this trilogy is worth the credits. enjoy!

Great

I love it and the narrator was very good at story telling and I felt like I was part of the story.

Good series, but wrapped up fast

I was liking the series through book 2, but 3 came around and I was dissapointed to learn it was the last one. I’m not sure if it didn’t get enough sales or what, but the last half of this book seems rushed. Potential spoilers… once they finally confront the big bad it’s very anti climatic. Even then, they do t get the resolution you’d expect. It’s more of a bandaid and left me unsatisfied. It’s almost as if they planned more books but never got the chance. I did like some of the new characters even if the authors made some characters contradict earlier actions. In the end I would say I was let down. Regardless I know both J.N Chaney and Rick Partlow are amazing authors and look forward to their future collaborations.

Fast and Slow

As always the team of JN Chaney and Mark Boyett is a special paring! These books always seem to go quicker than I hoped but in a good way. The pacing is good with high action and methodical character building together. Admittedly the ending for what seems like only a 3 part series is a little underwhelming feeling more like the lead into more books but 2yrs after publishing there's still no new boom that I can see.

awesome

This was a great conclusion to this trilogy. I was sad to see it end, but Chaney and Partlow delivered a great story. Boyett was fantastic and I hope he does more work with Chaney in the future. Thank you for the adventure.

Gets better and better!

This is a series that builds on itself. The characters get richer, the details become clearer and the narrator gets better with each book. I really enjoyed it and hope there is a bk 4

It's entertaining

When I first met my wife, she was sort of appalled that I listened to "hair band" music and hard rock. Then I pointed out that not all music needs to be a "statement." Sometimes is just needs to be fun and entertaining. That's what this book series is. Not ground breaking, definitely influenced by '90's plus scifi TV shows...but entertaining.
