This is a saga of cultivation and adventures of Qi Sun and Qi Moon, male and female practitioners of Taoist Internal Martial Arts and Alchemy, living in the 12th century. Their journey is both a chronicle of personal growth and a legend of courage, wisdom, and love.

In the first three novels, Sun and Moon, born into different clans, met and fell in love. Together, they cultivated mystical martial arts, waged battles for the Song Empire, and then left their court positions behind to pursue Dragon–Tigress training in the Kunlun Mountains. After overcoming many challenges and completing the core training, they descended the mountains to act decisively in the world once more. They became the land defenders against the dark forces of the Abyss, and only with the help of their seniors did they prevail.

In the current novel, the couple continues their cultivation toward Immortal Dragon and Tigress, under the guidance of their renowned mentors, in the Penglai dimension. They must shift their paradigms about the Universe and face previously unthinkable tribulations to accomplish the deep transformation necessary on their chosen Path.
