Mrk 11:1 And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, untoBethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of hisdisciples,

Mrk 11:2 And saith unto them, Go your way into thevillage over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find acolt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.

Mrk 11:3 And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this?say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

Mrk 11:4 And they went their way, and found the colttied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.

Mrk 11:5 And certain of them that stood there saidunto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?

Mrk 11:6 And they said unto them even as Jesus hadcommanded: and they let them go.

Mrk 11:7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and casttheir garments on him; and he sat upon him.

Mrk 11:8 And many spread their garments in the way:and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.

Mrk 11:9 And they that went before, and they thatfollowed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of theLord:

Mrk 11:10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David,that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

John 8:1-12

1 - Jesuswent unto the mount of Olives.

2 - Andearly in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people cameunto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

3 - Andthe scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and whenthey had set her in the midst,

4 - Theysay unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

5 - NowMoses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayestthou?

6 - Thisthey said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stoopeddown, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

7 - Sowhen they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, Hethat is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

8 - Andagain he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

9 - Andthey which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one byone, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, andthe woman standing in the midst.

10 - WhenJesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her,Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

11 - Shesaid, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, andsin no more.

12 - Thenspake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he thatfolloweth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
