Evelyn dreams of attending college and vows she will never marry a man in uniform., which is why Clyde Brixton presents a problem. An excellent plot and as always the historical backgrounds add so much another Camden novel! Love her work.

Charming, Quick Read

Intriguing story with complex characters. Elizabeth Camden manages to pack a satisfying experience into this novella. The narration was a bit off-putting and I had a hard time getting into the book at first but the story captured me after the first chapter and I was hooked.
