While I love the book, I think I would prefer less promoting of the program and keep the book to what you can do from the book.

Must listen it.

This book summarizes over 30 years of research on the health benefits of the Ornish disease prevention and reversal program, used throughout the world, taught in top universities, and practiced by smart doctors. The authors, describe how we can reduce the need for prescription drugs by just eating well, move more and reduce stress through meditation and love more by connecting with our loved ones and friends and community. They cite a lot of research to back up theirs claims.

This is the ultimate book for someone who believes

This is the ultimate book for someone who believes that diseases have a nutritional basis. This book is for people who question the status quo and wish to gain more self reliance by learning about alternatives to medical school prescribed remedies (drugs). This book may be uplifting to those who have been told there is no hope for their condition. Highly recommended.

I am so impressed by this book.

I am so impressed by this book. I got to the end and saw the recipes and I would have to say there wasn't ONE recipe I didn't want to try right away... it made me hungry! I've been looking for some solid advice on heart disease and I believe I have found it!

Wonderful audiobook with details.

This audiobook was easy to listen and views are supported by science and research. I really like the recipes in it. They are easily made and don't require exotic ingredients. I recommend this book to everyone to start living a healthier life...sound advice and easily attainable goals.

Useful tips.

This book hit every issue needed for great health. So often mental health is over looked and this book had a section on controlling stress, which I so needed. Well written and an easy read. A few recipes as well that looked worth trying. I think most of the book i highlighted, because most all was so relevant. I absolutely loved this book!

Life gets simpler.

Life gets simpler. Now you can listen all you need to know from the Ornish's in a single book. It is also worthy to note the more Dean studies patient responses, the more convinced he becomes on preventative approaches to multiple diseases.

Listen.

This book is great if you are having heart issues, but even if you're not, and you want to go vegan, the information contained can really help you. I like that the author has talked about his study and given the pertinent data related to the results of the data.

It has changed my life.

It has changed my life. I have been able to reduce my stain drugs. I completely off of all steroids. And reduced other supplements that were at on time recommend by my physician.
