5 second rule summarized

The rule is simple enough: 54321 and GO!! The full book will be one I'll listen to in the future but this was a great primer. Well narrated as well. Flashbooks almost always delivers.

It's a summary of an obvious concept

I guess it's too bad the original book is not on audible at this time. This summary was really, really short, and the content is a little too obvious: act on an idea/notion within 5 seconds or else personal doubt takes over and you will not do it. There, I saved you 30 minutes.

awesome idea to just make a summary

I loved this book. it has all the information cramped into a small amount of time. It really helped me keep the main points, which is really good because I can't concentrate on a point for that long so heck yeah. got this point on to the next

Excellent summary

I found this to be an excellent summary that gave a great overall coverage of the book’s main points. It was not just a list of bullet points like some summaries are. This one was very well organized and I feel I benefited from it.

Some people have complained about the narrator, but I think he did a great job and his voice was engaging. Sometimes a book’s own author does not read it well, so I don’t think there’s a need to go hard on the narrator of a summary.

I’m glad I bought it and listened to it twice in the car on the same day.

Performance is ok, book is bad

Well-structured, well-built summary. At times overdramatic voice. Disappointing book: even summary feels long given content...

Not happy

Information I’ve have already heard over the internet or in short video clips of Mel herself, disappointed I had to use a credit on it .

Just what you need instead of a dragged out book

This summary succinctly captures the essence of the 5 second rule and how to apply it in your life without all the anecdotes. The concept is simple and it works. This is perfect and has already changed my life for the better. Thanks Mel for the original but thank you for this short and sweet version too!

simplist way to deal with procrastion

loved it. simple and easy to remember ways to move forward. i have suffered inertia (my word for procrastion and paralysis by analysis) and anxiety for years, stopping me live into my full potential. too often great solitions just feed into exactly what stops me. highly recommended for people like me!
